Matt, Coral, and Bianca

August 17, 2009 - The Growing Peanut
Well here's more Peanut Pix. As you can see, our little beauty is very expressive and Coral doesn't mind taking photos (thank goodness). The second down and second from left is my favorite... and my desktop on my work computer. It looks like she's waving.

The yawn and tongue shots are great too, but they're all beautiful. I can't wait until I can take some myself.

It looks like she's about ready to roll over on her own. She'll probably be walking, talking, and graduating from college by the time they visit later in October.

July 8, 2009 - Got our Bambina fix
Our little bambina is out of the special care unit after just one day. It was just precautionary because she's very healthy, very alert (according to Matt), and cleared to go home. She'll stay in the hospital until mommy is feeling a little better though... probably this Friday.

Matt only got a focal lock on about 4 or 5 of these, so we'll need still more. Bianca's awfully cute though, and very photogenic.

July 6, 2009 - Meet Bianca Margaret Stiglianese
At top left of course, is Matt and Coral in Hong Kong, early in May after Coral went to stay with her parents. Top right looks like a party with her friends. I recognize Yan to Coral's right, from the wedding. I believe Yan was married last year.

Finally, here is our beautiful little peanut only minutes after she was born. The photos aren't the greatest because Matt took them with his cell phone. Of course I couldn't resist "touching them up" a bit in Photoshop.

Our special girl is currently in the "Special Care" ward for a little while, but will be fine. In the meantime though, photos aren't allowed. We'll have to make do with these until Daddy can take more.

For those of you who don't know, "Bianca" was my mother's name and "Margaret" was Meg's mom. She also has a Chinese name, but I'll let you know what it is when I find out. She was born on July 6, 2009, and weighed 5lb 13 oz just like Matt did. Coral is doing well and recovering.

Bianca is a naturalized Hong Kong citizen. Matt will file the necessary papers to apply for U.S. citizenship so she can be his little deduction.

January 10, 2009 - Say "Hello" to Siemens Stiglianese
The rumors you've heard in the tabloids are TRUE... We're going to be grandparents. Here are the first sonograms of little Siemens Stiglianese, courtesy of Matt and Coral. The upper left is from early December and you can clearly see the baby in the middle and the name "Siemens" in the upper right.
The two sonograms on the right are from January. Notice the four fingers and thumb... and the hand wave! The child is aready smart and beautiful! It's impossible to describe how excited we are. Coral is feeling quite a bit better now, so she's got some time to be excited too.

Due date is early July... maybe the 4th, to show his/her American side... or maybe Matt's birthday on the 14th... or somewhere in between to minimize confusion with other events.

September 13, 2008 - Matt & Coral's Chicago Wedding Party
Okay, so we picked the day with the highest rainfall in Chicago's recorded history... who knew? We certainly didn't. We even put up the tent and rented some extra tables and chairs in hopes that the weather would clear and we might be able to enjoy the yard. Well the best laid plans...

Wedding 2007
I've got the final set of photos posted from Coral and Matt's wedding. I finally took down the pre-wedding stuff, but you can click on the photo at right to go to the Big Event! Believe me, its worth the click!

Although there were enough photos to fill hundreds of pages, I've spent months culling and arranging to get the total down to 39 pages, each being a collage. I hope you enjoy seeing them. We certainly enjoyed living them.
